Nothing Phone (2a)
A distinctive, good-value $349 phone with a great screen and clean software, though the Glyph features lack depth and the cameras are only middling.

What I liked
- Outstanding battery life
- Great screen with slim borders for the price
- Clean, minimal software with little bloatware
- Good battery life and solid update support
- Distinctive design and fingerprint-resistant sides
- beautiful animations
What I didn't
- Last year's phone
- Glyph interface is running out of useful ideas
- Camera inconsistencies between lenses and too much HDR
- No zoom lens and 1080p-only front camera
- Occasional lag
- Cameras weaker on dynamic range and front video
