I bought every Playstation Ever.

A risky bet that worked: the first console to render real 3D well, with a lovely controller and disc drive, though crude by modern standards.

A nostalgic, no-frills evolution of the PS1 with a huge leap in graphics and the best-selling console ever.

Hugely powerful and a leap in features and graphics, but too expensive, noisy and hot, and it sold poorly next to the PS2.

A well-designed, much friendlier-priced console that thrashed the Xbox One, though it ran surprisingly loud and hot.

The wildest, most futuristic PlayStation with a striking design, 4K, ray tracing and adaptive triggers, a huge upgrade on the PS4.
