Google Pixel 7 ProA great phone worth the extra £300 for its better screen, bigger battery and 5x zoom camera.
Google Pixel 7aA brilliant, fast phone with a camera system he thinks is the best under £600, and the base model loses little compared with the Pro.
Google Pixel 6 ProTook astonishing photos with lovely software, but was held back by a weak chipset, mediocre battery and grainy video.
Samsung Galaxy S22 UltraUsed as a benchmark: CPU neck and neck with Tensor G2, with better zoom than the Pixel, but worse at unblurring photos.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro MaxUsed as a battery-life reference; the Pixel 7 Pro is right there with it.
Apple iPhone 14 ProStill ahead of the Pixels on video clarity and selfie quality, but behind on night dynamic range and zoom.
