Microsoft Xbox (Original)Chunky and huge, but tactile, comfortable to play and still great fun thanks to Halo and its brilliant startup animation.
Microsoft Xbox 360A big step up with online play, achievements and a great interface, though loud and hit by the Red Ring of Death.
Microsoft Xbox 360 SlimA quieter, lower-power revision of the 360 that proved quite popular.
Microsoft Xbox OnePowerful and well designed with a great controller, but the always-online, Kinect-bundled launch strategy was a costly mistake.
Microsoft Xbox One SA smaller, quieter, cheaper TV-box-style Xbox with HDR and 4K Blu-ray that fixed the original One's strategy.
Microsoft Xbox One XThe most powerful console of its time, delivering 4K and extra detail while staying quiet, though no frills.
Xbox Series XThe premium, most powerful Xbox with a bigger jump than expected, though its controller plays it safe.
Xbox Series STiny, cheap and surprisingly impressive with ray tracing and 120fps, though weaker than the Series X.
