Apple iPhone 17 Pro
Worth it if…Worth it, with caveats.
Capable phone with great cameras, thermals and battery, but the upgrades feel incomplete and it is an optional upgrade for most people.

What I liked
- Very decent battery life
- Colour unaffected by UV light
- Colour unaffected by hydrogen peroxide
- Battery focus
- Improved signal
- Battery over 30% bigger than the 13 Pro's
What I didn't
- Under 9 hours of battery
- iOS lagging behind
- Only marginally faster than the 15 Pro and 13 Pro
- Aluminium body scratches easily
- 4x telephoto makes little difference
- Screen scratch resistance claim not borne out
