Apple iPhone 16
Worth it if…Worth it, with caveats.
A fast, safe upgrade with good audio mixing and gaming, but camera gains over the 15 are negligible and it keeps a 60Hz screen.

What I liked
- Lasts 2.5 hours longer than the iPhone Air
- Better speakers than the Phone 3
- Better than the iPhone 15
- Plenty for most users
- Audio mix feature is very cool
- Console games run smoothly
What I didn't
- Likely to be outlasted by the Phone 3
- Not for the absolute heaviest users
- Started dimming near the end
- Basically no photo difference from iPhone 15
- Still 60Hz refresh rate
- Camera control is awkward
In my words
Straight from the video. Tap a timestamp to hear me say it.
“I still wouldn't recommend the 16 to the absolute heaviest users but you've got more than enough as long as you're not one of them”
“if what you're after is big camera improvements this ain't it”
“they are safe phones to upgrade to they're fast”
“decent all round upgrade nothing revolutionary”
“the screens still have that 60 HZ refresh rate which makes them feel a little bit laggy”
“these are Big Improvement numbers”
