OnePlus 7

Worth it if…Worth it, with caveats.

Great photos and videos plus very fluid, fast OxygenOS software and new stereo speakers.

What I liked

  • amazing photos and videos
  • fluid OxygenOS
  • stereo speakers
  • Best night mode
  • Optical stabilisation on main camera
  • Clearer slow-mo footage

What I didn't

  • No telephoto or ultra-wide camera
  • Front video crops in heavily
  • Warm images in ultra low light
  • Portrait mode causes face distortion
  • Looks expensive next to the K20 Pro
  • Clings on at 1% before dying

Redmi K20 Pro vs OnePlus 7 vs Xiaomi Mi 9 Camera Test Comparison!

Best in low light and with OIS for walking video, but it lacks a telephoto and ultra-wide, and its front video crop makes it poor for vlogging.

Lasted half an hour longer than the 7 Pro, which makes choosing between the two less simple.
