Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

Better build, power and screen than the new mid-rangers, but software support ends sooner.

Mentioned only for its larger retail box, which is compared with the S21 Ultra's smaller one.

Finished last despite a 5,000mAh battery, showing how inefficient the Exynos 990 was.

Mentioned as last year's model whose portraits also looked fake, though its photos were still better than the iPhone's.

Last year's Ultra chased big camera numbers but lacked in focusing, dynamic range and usable zoom, though it had 1.5TB storage.

His previous phone, with a more exciting camera and 120Hz display than the iPhone he switched to.

Used as a price comparison against the 12 Pro Max in different countries.

A battery and all-round pick, best in the Snapdragon version, but expensive and big.

Best for detail and zoom, with a 108 megapixel main camera, but inconsistent video exposure and focusing in low light.

A beastly phone with extreme specs, but at 50% more than the OnePlus its value proposition crumbles.
